The International College of Washington’s (ICW) overall mission is to meet the higher educational needs of northern Virginia and beyond. Within this context, we offer undergraduate degrees and a certificate program in our schools of Business and Liberal Arts and Sciences.
The mission of our School of Business and School of Liberal Arts and Sciences is to provide quality degree and certificate programs that prepare our students with theoretical knowledge and practical skills, and the credentials needed to continue their education.
Each of our schools and programs are designed to meet regional needs, support excellence in teaching and learning, advance and share knowledge through research and creative endeavor, and work within the community to develop intellectual, cultural, economic, and human resources.
We offer bachelor degrees in Meeting and Event Planning, Business Administration, Fine/Studio Arts, Graphic Design, and English Language and Literature. In addition, we offer a proficiency certificate in English As A Second Language for those international students who are not yet prepared to commence their undergraduate studies in the English language.

UNIQUE LIBERAL ARTS EDUCATION
ICW provides an exceptional learning experience that is based upon the strongest traditions of western liberal arts education. In addition, we offer an unparrelled proficiency certificate program in English As A Second Language.
AN AFFORDABLE EDUCATION
The cost of an education at ICW is among the lowest for any institution of higher learning in the Washington DC metropolitan area, and among the lowest in the nation. For most of our programs, we offer the same low tuition rates for in-state, out-of-state, and international students. Limited financial aid is available for those students who qualify. ICW participates in a variety of financial aid programs for the benefit of students. Students must meet the eligibility requirements of these programs in order to participate.
CONVENIENT & ACCESSIBLE
We strive to make sure that your educational experience is as comfortable and hassle-free as possible. Our campus is conveniently located in Annandale, VA where we provide free shuttle bus service from the Silver Spring, MD area and the Dunn Loring Street Metro Station. In addition, we offer free on-campus parking. We also offer housing assistance for all of our existing and prospective students.

One of the more important aspects of ICW’s mission is our core belief that your learning does not end once your classes are over. We make every effort to ensure that you develop the highest level of knowledge and skills that will be required for your success in further educational work or in the job market after you graduate. We have an outstanding faculty and support staff who are dedicated to ensuring that experiential learning opportunities are available for all qualified students through internships, co-ops and post-graduate work.
